Fresh from Motorcycle Live 2011 – dR Checks out the Annual Show
By Faraz Awan
After months of being teased by all the main motorcycle publications about what can be expected to be seen at this year’s Motorcycle Live 2011 at the NEC in Birmingham, We’re pleased to say that we were not disappointed.
After a fantastic opening to the show by a host of celebrity riders including British Moto GP rider Cal Crutchlow, we were treated to a mouth-watering selection of new metal including a new face-lifted ‘Blade, a stunning Ducati Diavel Cromo and a new look GSXR-1000. It would appear that 2012 looks better than we had anticipated.
Attending the show on the first day inevitably meant that we did not find the bargain deals of yesteryear, but dealers usually hang on until the last couple of days before slashing their prices.
We were fortunate enough to bump into the odd celebrity rider, including Leon Haslam and Cal himself. All in all, it was a great day out and, if you missed out this year, be sure to get yourself down there next year.
