What we expect from our members.
As the number of dR members steadily increases worldwide, we're trying to encourage everyone to organize activities to raise funds and awareness for charities local to you that are close to your hearts. It doesn't matter how small the activity is, or how little you raise, we want to know about it.
The best charities are those that offer support for orphans or families in need. We also encourage helping any organisations that are trying to improve relations in the community and those that focus on health issues.
It's easy. Remember you don't have to ride a motorcycle to be a Deen Rider. You just have to care about your community.
If you’re based in the UK, you will be expected to work directly with us with the charities we have carefully selected. This does not however stop you from making suggestions if you feel there is a charity close to your heart that we could work with.
2012 can be a very special year if we can pull this off. Your efforts will not go unrewarded. We are constantly reminded by Allah (God) of the virtues and rewards of helping those less fortunate.
