Deen Riders

Club History

The passion for motorcycles has existed for a very long time. It can be looked at as being an almost selfish desire. Yes there’s room for one more on the back, but that bike only belongs to one person. You.

So there we were riding along in the heart of summer in the beautiful countryside. It couldn’t get much better than this we thought as the sound of our engines ricochet off the rolling hills. There something inherently beautiful about parking up at the edge of lavender adorned fields and offering the afternoon prayer, praying where perhaps no other Muslim has prayed before. It’s a feeling unmatched.

But still there was something wrong. We were Muslims after all and we were conscious of the fact that we would be questioned about how we spent our time. Maybe there was another way to allow others to benefit from this passion. Among bikers from every community, you will find a cornucopia of skills. Doctors, Solicitors, Designers, Web developers, you name it and you’ll find them on their bikes.

It was time to help make a positive change for the community. Time to help the needy and the destitute. Time to put smiles on faces that had been devoid of smiles for a very long time.

And then Deen Riders was born.
